A Wedding Fit for a Princess

It doesn't seem that long ago when the world was captivated by the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton, the now Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge... I remember that day well and there was a real air of excitment and genuine joy as the whole country, and pretty much the rest of world, watched a true fairytale royal wedding unfold.  I can't quite believe it was over 6 years ago already!  Now I am sure many will remember different aspects of that day but one of my abiding memories was seeing Pippa Middleton in that amazing white bridesmaid dress.  I think its fair to say that she became one of the major talking points as she captured the attention of the world.

Today was the wedding of Pippa Middleton to James Matthews and its no surprise that again its captured a huge amount of media interest and attention all around the world.  The guests included the Duke & Dutchess of Cambridge and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry, Princess Eugine and even tennis royalty in the shape of Roger Federer and his wife Mirka were in attendance. So I guess nothing but a wedding fit for a princess would do and from the pictures and video I have seen so far that's exactly what they got.  A magical wedding fit for a princess!

I have heard that the wedding itself cost over £400,000 and the enagement ring alone reportedly cost over £250,000!  So no surprise then that the bride looked absolutely stunning in her bespoke Giles Deacon wedding dress that just oozed class, sophistication and beauty in every detail... the Middleton's really do have some great family genes!  Kate as always looked incredible in her blush pink Alexander McQueen outfit and the page boys and flower girls, which included Prince George and Princess Charlotte, looked soo cute in their very elegant and classic outfits!

At this very moment of me writing this blog they are no doubt in the middle of their wedding breakfast in their purpose built glass Marquee in the grounds of their family home in Bucklebury sipping on the finest champagne and having a truly magical wedding day and good luck to them... I just wish I was there to witness it in person!
